Sarah Wood

Following an academic career, Sarah Wood co-founded Unruly in 2006, scaling a global video advertising marketplace that was acquired by News Corp in 2015. A former board member of Superdry plc, Sarah currently sits on the boards of Tech Nation, City Ventures and The Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families. She is an ambassador for The Prince's Trust Women Supporting Women Programme, has been named Veuve Clicquot Businesswoman of the Year, City AM Entrepreneur of the Year, and was awarded an OBE for services to technology and innovation. After co-founding City Unrulyversity, a free pop-up university with a mission to inspire the next generation of digital entrepreneurs, Sarah was awarded an honorary doctorate from City, University of London. She is an active angel investor in the tech and wellbeing space, a mentor at UCL’s Hatchery and author of best-selling career handbook Stepping Up: How to Accelerate Your Leadership Potential, which calls for more diverse and empathetic business leaders.

Jaspar Weir

Jaspar Weir is co-founder and president of TaskUs, a company with more than 8,500 full time employees and over $100MM in revenue. TaskUs works with the world’s best emerging brands like Tinder, Box and HotelTonight on customer experience strategy and outsourcing. The company’s employee engagement and retention metrics has landed TaskUs international recognition and awards for excellence in culture creation.

Jaspar focuses on leading the company's transformational growth which has secured TaskUs on the Inc 500 list for 5 years and running, the only company in California to accomplish this feat. Before TaskUs, Jaspar co-founded two other companies with TaskUs CEO, Bryce Maddock, including a social media marketing agency and an events production business. Jaspar is the winner of the 2017 EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award, was on Inc.’s 30 Under 30 list, and recently launched his podcast, CXYZ. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from the University of California.

Megan Klimen

Megan is Founder and COO of 3Scan, a biotech company that offers automated microscopy services and software for the 3D analysis of cells, tissues and organs.

Megan also helped in founding and running the BIL Conference series, and has experience in running projects all across the world. Her passions include travel, disaster relief, and growing small companies into large ones. Currently, she is involved in Start-Up Chile.

Megan has a degree in Biology and Anthropology from UC San Diego.

Peter Smith

Peter Smith is co-founder and CEO of Blockchain.info — a Bitcoin block explorer service and cryptocurrency wallet provider. Peter Smith was born and raised in England and, before founding Blockchain, had been living, studying and working in the United States, Africa, Asia and Europe. Peter Smith’s Bitcoin involvement started with co-founding the startup Blockchain with Nicolas Cary in 2011. Under the leadership of Peter Smith, the Blockchain company has become a leader in the cryptocurrency and distributed ledger technology market. For some time, he was an active investor in the crypto industry. Peter has been featured in popular magazines, and he is frequently invited as an expert and speaker at various related conferences.

Oscar Pierre

I'm really extremely proud of having become a Founders Pledge member. Social impact was a big reason to found Glovo and this move guarantees that a part of what we are building will help solve some of the biggest global issues. The Founders Pledge team does an incredible job at guiding founders through understanding their deepest philanthropic interests and optimize the impact when donating. I'm also proud to have hosted my first Founders Pledge dinner at home with other entrepreneurs in Barcelona, thanks FP with all the logistics and support!

Aerospace engineer and entrepreneur. Oscar Pierre, 26, is CEO and co-founder of Glovo. Pierre began his training at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. After two years, he moved to the United States to explore better opportunities. He began his professional career as an Aeronautical engineer at Airbus, but after 6 months he decided to look for new challenges.

In 2015 he returned to Barcelona, his hometown, and founded Glovo. In January of 2017, he was part of Forbes magazine's annual list of most influential young people.

Alex Depledge

Alex Depledge is the co-founder & CEO of Hassle.com, a London based start-up that makes it easy for anyone to book a pre-vetted cleaner online. Originally from the North of England, Alex started a career in US Politics in Chicago before returning to the UK as a management consultant at Accenture. Alex made the leap into entrepreneurship in 2012 & is passionate about the UK's tech scene. In 2014 TechCity Insider named Alex ‘Entrepreneur of the Year' following on the heels of her appearance on the ‘Silicon Valley Comes to the UK Scale-up Top 100’ - a list highlighting British entrepreneurs expected to lead their firms to £100m in revenue in three to five years. She is now fully focused on making Hassle the best it can be & expanding into major cities in the UK & Europe.

Mathilde Collin

Founder and CEO of Front

Mathilde is the co-founder and CEO of Front. Prior to that, Mathilde served as a project manager at Concord. She holds a master's degree in entrepreneurship from HEC School of Management.

Minnie Ingersoll

Founder and COO of Shift

Minnie Ingersoll is Founder and COO of Shift, a leading online car retail platform. After 12 years at Google, Minnie went on to co-found Shift, an online car marketplace which has revolutionized the way people think about car ownership with trust, simplicity and convenience. Minnie is both a long-time Silicon Valley executive and dedicated mother. She now stands as COO at Code for America, a progressive nonprofit dedicated to improving civic tech and strengthening America's social safety net.

Martin Villig

I am grateful for the invite to join Founders Pledge. I have always tried to help other people by doing good – either personally or via increasing our impact via Bolt. Founders Pledge helps me to learn about impact of effective giving and take my philanthropic activities to the next level. If more people would donate 10% of their income in effective way, we could solve many global challenges faster. So I try to learn, donate smartly and share my learnings with other people.

Martin is the co-founder of Bolt (formerly Taxify), the leading on-demand transportation platform in Europe and Africa, more than 30 million passengers in 35 countries.

Martin has been an entrepreneurial since school, founded several companies and worked at Nasdaq Tallinn, Skype and Fortumo. Today Martin is coordinating impact & sustainability projects at Bolt.

Martin is active member of Estonian startup community, being co-founder of Garage48.org, Estonian Founder Society and Estonian Education Foundation.

As father of 2 great kids, Martin likes to travel and spend time outdoors with his family. Martin likes hiking, pilates, soccer, tennis, running, etc. Martin uses his bike for the daily commute in Tallinn, Estonia.

Jeremy Johnson

Founder

Jeremy is a technology entrepreneur and the co-founder and CEO of Andela, an African company that trains software developers. In just under 5 years, Andela has grown to nearly 2000 people and become known as the "Best Place to Work in Africa," with tech campuses in Lagos, Nairobi, Kampala, and Kigali. Andela developers work as full-time engineers with companies ranging from the Fortune 500 to high-growth startups like Gusto and Cloudflare.

Before Andela, Johnson had co-founded 2U, one of the fastest growing education technology startups. He is now the President of Strategic Initiatives at 2U. Jeremy serves on the board of the Young Entrepreneur Council and the education non-profit PENCIL and was listed as Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2013 and 2014.

Niklas Adalberth

Niklas co-founded unicorn payment company Klarna 2005, backed by investors such as Sequoia, Atomico and General Atlantic. More than 10 years later he quit his operational role as deputy CEO to found tech-for-good Norrsken Foundation. Norrsken invests in entrepreneurs such as Welcome Movement, Doctrine and Karma that tackles the biggest problems in society. In addition to investments, Norrsken last year opened the largest co-working space in Europe for people that tries to improve the world with over 350 members.

Ricky Knox

Co-founder

Ricky is co-founder of Tandem Bank, a mobile app-based bank, that offers credit and current account products. In 2018, Tandem fully acquired Harrods Bank.

Ricky is also managing partner of Hexagon Partners, a private equity firm, and founder of Azimo, a digital payments platform.

Ricky has a BSc in Economics from Bristol University and an MBA from INSEAD.
